Meet the Practitioner

My passion for orthopedic medicine stems from my personal interest in pain management and the mind-body connection.

While many healthcare providers see pain and think pain, my thought process is more of a systems approach: how is this pain affecting energy, mood, sleep, digestion, circulation, movement, and the ability to think clearly?

Does this pain have an internal component where the body's inability to heal has led to a prolonged, more painful recovery?

Answering these questions becomes easier with Chinese Medicine and a modern understanding of physiology.  Herbal medicine and acupuncture are remarkable tools for simplifying complex issues and treating disease in a ways that aren't possible with mainstream medicine.

If you're interested in learning more, feel free to read my blog or schedule a no-cost consultation.

I look forward to being of service!
